Joining the Committee
The committee has a total of 13 voting members and 1 ex-officio, non-voting member, and 2 non-voting liaisons.
Undergraduate Students
Two voting positions are available to undergraduate students.
Undergraduate students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Graduate and Professional Students
Two voting positions are available to any graduate or professional student at the university.
Graduate or professional students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Employees
Two voting positions are available to employees.
Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Faculty
Two voting positions are open to faculty.
Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:
University Assembly Members
One member of the University Assembly serves on this committee as a non-voting liaison.
Transportation Hearing and Appeals Board Liaison
The Transportation Hearing and Appeals Board appoints a liaison to serve on this committee.

The university president, on recommendation from the Vice President of Facilities and Campus Services, makes five staggered, three-year appointments to this committee, including:

- Student and Academic Services
- University Relations
- Two from the following departments (class B in membership rolls):
- Civil and Environmental Engineering

- One from Office of Budget and Financial Planning (class C in membership rolls)
