Graduate Community Initiative Working Group

The working group was created to follow up on and advocate for the goals articulated in the GPSA’s 2007 Vision Statement for a Graduate Community Initiative.

Charge of Working Group

Review the Vision Statement for a Graduate Community Initiative and develop an action plan that incorporates both short term and long range goals.

Develop a communication plan regarding the work of this committee (6/11/07)

Initiate dialogues with graduate and professional students and faculty for their reaction to and ideas about the vision statement AND their suggestions about moving toward implementation.

Determine how best to link the Graduate School, Dean of Students Office, Campus Life and others to address the social, academic and career needs of graduate and professional students.

Prepare a written proposal for action (outlining short term actions and long term planning activities) and a suggested time line for such action by December 2007.
