Personal Statement
Doug Mitarotonda
I am humbled and honored to have been elected by the student body to serve on the Board of Trustees. In my responsibility of representing undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, I am always interested in hearing from the student body. Biography
Doug grew up in a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA before coming to Cornell in the fall of 1998. After graduating with a BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Asian Studies in 2002 and a MEng in Computer Science in 2003, Doug decided to continue on at Cornell to study for a PhD in Economics. He is currently a 4th year student and focuses his research on electric power markets.
