Guideline proposals/ Recruitment and elections schedule
D. Gusz said that the purpose of today’s meeting was to refine the proposed changes from last week and put them into language for the guidelines, which will then be voted on the following week.
L. Rosenblum split the commissioners into four categories of guideline topics, including durable goods, events, documentation and publications.
After the commissioners spoke among their groups for ten minutes, they discussed the recruitment process and meeting schedule for the next several weeks.
Thursday, Nov.11 — new commissioner applications due at midnight.
Friday, Nov. 12 — application review and voting of guidelines.
Monday, Nov. 15 — new commissioner interviews.
Monday, Nov. 22 — nominations for executive board positions.
Monday, Nov. 29 — elections.
L. Rosenblum recorded which commissioners were going abroad or graduating at the end of the semester. She asked the commissioners to promote SAFC recruitment.
D. Gusz remind everyone that there will be no meeting next Monday, but on the following Friday.
Respectfully Submitted,
Valerie Pocus
