The Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

III. Business of the Day

Update on appeals/ Group discussions for guideline changes

D. Gusz informed the commission that the Student Assembly returned 15 to 16 budget appeals, but that there should be enough money left to fund special projects. He also said that the SAFC might undergoing re-organization changes.

L. Rosenblum said that the commission will be divided into groups to discuss various sections of the guidelines. She asked the commissioners to recall the specific issues brought up during hearings, or any particularly confusing or difficult questions the groups had.

The commission was split into five groups.

Group 1, chapters 1–2, section 9.1: L. Kogos (captain), D. Krenitsyn, C. Kang, C. Kang, R. Kishore
Group 2, chapters 3–4, section 9.3: J. Zhao (captain), D. Wong, S. Wiener, C. Feng, J. Marder
Group 3, chapters 5–6, section 9.4: K. Song (captain), E. Barton, S. Lau, J. Frank, E. Diakow
Group 4, chapters 7–8, section 9.5: K. Jenkins (captain), J. Min, M. Gruber, L. Rosenblum
Group 5, chapters 10–11, section 9.6: C. Baldwin (captain), C. Lee, A. Connors, D. Gusz

After the commission discussed the food options for the long meeting next week, they broke off into their respective groups.

IV. Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm.
