I. Call to Order

The Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

III. Business of the Day

Budget hearings details/ Oath of Office

D. Gusz said that the purpose of this meeting is to go over the details of budget hearings this week.

L. Rosenblum said that commissioners must attend five of the six hearings that will be going on this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She also asked the commissioners to sign their Oath of Office for those who had not already done so, in order for them to participate in the hearings.

D. Gusz gave a brief overview of the hearings for the newer commissioners. He explained that commissioners will divided into groups of three for each table, and will be assigned 15-minute time slots to talk with each club to better understand the application and any outstanding errors. He suggested that commissioners study the guidelines beforehand to know what to look for.

L. Rosenblum added that commissioners who are affiliated with a student organization cannot be present at that club’s hearing.

D. Gusz passed out a sample budget for the commissioners to review, and said that Thursday’s budget hearings will be primarily club sports.

L. Rosenblum said that the hearings will be located in Goldwin-Smith 160 and 162 on Wednesday starting at 5:00PM, and that the commissioners need to be there at least 15 minutes earlier to prepare. The hearings on Thursday and Friday will be in Willard Straight Hall and start at 4:30PM.

D. Gusz reminded everyone to wear their red SAFC shirts.

IV. Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm.
