I. Call to Order

The Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

III. Business of the Day

Attendance policy/ Help sessions/ New commissioner training

After welcoming back the commission from winter break, the e-board started off the first meeting of the semester with introductions and an icebreaker.

E. Diakow discussed the attendance policy and point system.

D. Gusz said that commissioners needed to sign up for budget application help sessions next week for club presidents and treasurers.

C. Feng explained that help sessions served as an SAFC office-hours type system for clubs that had any questions. He also said that there would be a Budget Workshop this Thursday.

J. Marder said that there would be a training session for new commissioners, as well as a presentation on Thursday. He said that would prepare an abridged version of the guidelines for commissioner use.

E. Diakow added that experienced commissioners would be paired with the newer members to better transition them.

C. Feng outlined his plans for the commission this semester, and asked if there were any more questions.

IV. Meeting was adjourned at 5:30 pm.
