Group affiliation disclaimer/ Ice breakers/ Help sessions/ Jeopardy game
Y. Neverova asked returning members to collect binders if they were not present at the new member meeting last Saturday. She also reminded the commissioners to sign the group of affiliation disclaimer and conflict of interest form and to turn them in at the end of the meeting, so the Assemblies office can keep them on file.
C.Feng announced that help sessions would be at the International Lounge in Willard Straight, from 4:30 to 5:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. He asked the commissioners if they could arrive at the sessions early.
Y. Neverova added that the commissioners should wear their new white t-shirts to the help sessions, as well as bring their guidelines packet. She spoke briefly about the new group applications interface, and handed out printout screenshots of the database to show the commissioners. While the system is more updated and user-friendly, she asked the commissioners to be patient with groups who are unfamiliar with the online process. She told the commissioners that if the groups were concerned about technical difficulties with the database at the help sessions, to tell them go on the Office of the Assemblies website and email Ari Epstein.
The commission played an icebreaker.
L.Rosenblum set up a game of jeopardy to test the commission on administrative expenses and documentation, local events, dual good and travel events, publications and co-organizations, and other miscellaneous guidelines policies.
After the jeopardy game, Y.Neverova asked if anyone had any questions.
Respectfully Submitted,
