The Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.

III. Business of the Day

Executive Board Elections

J.Castle started off the meeting announcing that today is the election for the new executive board positions. Before voting began, he said that next week the commission will be voting on handbook changes, and that it will be the last meeting for the general body meeting. He noted, however, that the new executive board would have an additional meeting the week after.

T.Mulherin clarified that V.Gehani will be senior Co-Chair next semester, and that the commission will be voting for a junior Co-chair. He encouraged everyone to run for a position. He said that each candidate will give a brief speech as well as answer any questions that the commission might have.

Discussion among the general commission about the candidates ensued, following by voting.

VOTES: Y.Neverova — 16; B.Schreff — 9 � Y.Neverova is elected the new Co-Chair.

Each candidate presented a brief speech, had a very quick question and answer period, and then stepped out into the hall.

Discussion among the general commission about the candidates ensued, following by voting.

VOTES: C.Casey — 22; L.Rosenblum — 3; V.Pillet — 0 � C.Casey is elected the new VP of External Relations.

J.Castle congratulated the new executive board, and reminded everyone to attend the last meeting of the semester which is next week.
