IV.	Candidates Forum (Wednesday 5PM, WSH Music Room)
- a.	Format
- i.	Start with brief  introductions
- 1. 	Transfers, than freshman
 - 2. 	15 seconds each
 
 - ii.	Then break the candidates into “focus groups” of 5at a time (2 transfers go into the first group)
- 1.	Within each focus group, one question from SA member followed one from the community
 
 
 - a.	Community questions will be written on paper and screened/selected by Elections Committee members
 - b.	Committee will prepare questions on paper to substitute for community questions if necessary
- 2.	Each of 5 candidates in focus group will have 45 seconds to answer each question
 - 3.	If more than 30 candidates, add on to focus groups to ensure everyone is within the first 6 groups
 
- iii.	Following first round of Focus Groups, go through candidates again
- 1.	Same procedure, but different focus groups (ie. Those who answered about Campus safety in Round 1 now answer about Late night programming)
 
 
 - a.	One question from SA, 30 second responses
- iv.	Issues (two focus groups for each issue → go through 1 to 3 and then back to 1 again)
- 1.	Campus safety (Blue lights/shuttles)
 - 2.	Late night programming (Cayuga’s Watchers)
 - 3.	Caring Community (mental health/adjustments)
 
 
 - b.	Participation of Jevan Hutson and Ian Harris (Meinig Family Scholars)
- i.	Put them in touch with Slope Media
 - ii.	Ask Roneal to talk to office about excusing them 
 - iii.	Allow them to provide a 30 second introduction to read aloud
 
 - c.	Participation of other no-show candidates
- i.	Nothing to do for them
 
 - d.	Involvement of community and campus media
- ii.	Same as community
 
 
V.	Fall Elections voting
- a.	Voting booths on North Campus
- i.	Participation encouraged, wait for Google doc
