I. Call to Order
II. PR Strategic Plan
- Chair’s Remarks: We have a lot of events to prepare for. We also have a strategic
plan to roll out and that is what we will be discussing today. Please think about
what role you wish to play? What function(s) and responsibilities do you want to
have?
- FACEBOOK: all posts will be done at 9pm.
i. Initiative Based: If we are working on an event, this is used to gage
student opinion. The point is to see if we can get comments and likes
ii. Fun Based: We did this last semester with the hockey tickets. Make sure
we get likes and ensure we have an audience for our posts. The goal is to
have 4500 followers and the remaining $900 in the PR budget can mainly
be allocated to this.
iii. Outreach Based: Work with the VP of outreach in figuring out ways to
bring in as many people to the SA as possible.
iv. Resolution/Agenda Based: Make sure the work we do gets broadcasted
and ensure that students understand the work we are doing and what is on
the agenda.
- Website Based: cornellsa.com
i. Announcements/ Postings: Every Thursday you will need to come to the
SA meetings, summarize the announcements and reports, and then post on
the website.

ask for a write up. Then post it on the website.
