SA: Letter to President RE: Resolution 29

Dear President Skorton,

I would like to convey Resolution 29: Calling for the Implementation of Open Course Evaluations. This resolution was sponsored by Representative Joseph Fridman.

This resolution calls for the creation of course evaluations that students can have open access to. Representative Fridman, who is also a member of the EPC, has brought this resolution to the attention of Faculty Senate members. This resolution was debated extensively within and outside of the SA, but we firmly believe that the creation of open course evaluations would benefit Cornell’s students, as well as the faculty.
