SA: Letter to President RE: Resolution 25

Dear President Skorton,

I would like to formally communicate Resolution 25: Calling for an Investigation of the Quarter System. This resolution was co-sponsored by SA Representatives William Bitsky and Blake Brown, along with VP for University and Community Relations for the Interfraternity Council Spencer Nord.

The resolution calls for the SA to create a temporary ad-hoc committee to investigate the student perspective on the impact of the Quarter System. The committee would be charged with producing a report about its findings by May 1, 2015. The committee will be staffed by the SA’s Staffing Committee, and will include students who are members of the Greek community, and those who are not.
