SA: Letter to President RE: Resolution 24

Dear President Skorton,

I would like to communicate Resolution 24: Attendance Policy Charter Changes, to you. This charter change was co-sponsored by the SA’s VP for Internal Operations, Matthew Henderson and Parliamentarian, Jordan Berger.

This edited attendance policy allows the Executive Committee more flexibility than was previously allowed in the charter. Upon considering extenuating circumstances, and an unanimous vote in favor, the SA Executive Committee can avert a vacancy that would have happened automatically in the past. We believe this policy will allow this Assembly and future Assemblies to account for special, and often difficult circumstances, that our representatives may experience and may cause their limited attendance at meetings.
