SA: Letter to President RE: Resolutions 10, 11, and 12

Dear President Skorton,

I would like to communicate Resolutions 10, 11 and 12 to you, which were sponsored by Matthew Henderson (Vice President for Internal Operations), Jordan Berger (Parliamentarian), Beebee Asamoah-Mensah (Tri-Council Liaison), and Matthew Battaglia (Student-elected UA Representative).

These resolutions all aim to redefine SA ex-officio membership on the SA. The sponsors wanted to clarify their role, and our policies pertaining to our ex-officio members. They require amendments to our Charter, Bylaws and Standing Rules to reflect these edited policies. The question about what ex-officio membership is defined as was brought up after the introduction of Resolution 6, which I conveyed to you earlier today. Hopefully, these resolutions will clarify any ambiguity for future Student Assembly members.
