SA: Letter to President RE: Resolutions 1 and 2

Dear President Skorton,

I would like to report the SA’s first two resolutions of the year to you.

Resolution 1 is “Approval of the 2014 - 2015 Standing Rules.” Here is the amended appendix for your reference. You may notice that there are some significant edits to the Standing Rules: this is because we added and removed language to more accurately reflect our current practices.

Resolution 2 is “Approval of the 2014- 2015 Operating Budget.” The budget itself is attached for your reference. This budget is very different from past years because we reduced our total budget by about $10,000. The budgets of different committees were changed based on their spending patterns in past years.
