SA: Resolution 33: Re-affiliating Ivy Council with the Student Assembly

Sponsored by: Cameron Pritchett ‘15, Jessica Barragan ‘15, Nick Judson

Whereas, Ivy Council was established in 1993 for the purpose of encouraging interaction and communication between Ivy League student governing bodies;

Whereas, Article VII, Section II of the Student Assembly’s charter establishes the function of Cornell’s Ivy Council chapter;

Whereas, recently Ivy Council has been a de facto independent entity with no support or backing from the Student Assembly;

Be it therefore resolved, that Ivy Council will be an official chartered committee of the Student Assembly.

Be it finally resolved, that the Student Assembly will support the function of and actively solicit the assistance of Ivy Council as detailed in the corresponding report.

Respectfully Submitted,

Cameron Pritchett ‘15
Minority Liaison At-Large, Ivy Council Co-Head Delegate

Jessica Barragan ‘15
Ivy Council Co-Head Delegate

Nick Judson
President of Ivy Council on behalf of the Ivy Council Executive Board
