SA: December 19, 2012 Letter From President Re: R. 15

Dear Adam,

Thank you for sharing Student Assembly Resolution 15, “In Support of a Green Revolving Fund.” I am conceptually in agreement with the fund, because in fact Cornell devotes tens of millions of dollars in energy conservation. There are, however, some specific logistical issues that must be addressed before we formally respond to the assembly’s request that we create a Green Revolving Fund for Cornell University.

Several of my colleagues are meeting this week to talk about particulars. Therefore, I would like permission to delay a final response to the Student Assembly on this matter until after the new year.
