SA: October 31, 2012 Response to President Skorton Re: R. 12

Dear President Skorton,

Thank you for your support and endorsement of the Inclusive Housing initiative, we really appreciate it. S.A. members understand the technical hurdles involved with implementing the new system and they are encouraged to hear that the program is feasible by Spring 2014. The sponsors of the resolution will work closely with the Campus Life team as the initiative moves forward. S.A. members are also excited that Campus Life will be able to, in the interim, designate gender-inclusive space prior to the general room selection process for students who are interested in the housing option.

Finally, S.A. members and the sponsors of the resolution are going to work with student groups to create an educational video to raise awareness and inform the student body about the gender-inclusive option.
