SA: Resolution 8: Amendment to the 2012-2013 Standing Rules

Whereas, the Standing Rules “shall serve as guidelines for specific rules and effective leadership from the Student Assembly that may not specifically be covered in the charter, but will aide in the efficiency of a successful Assembly”;

Whereas, the Vice President of Finance is responsible for administering the Student Assembly budget;

Be it therefore resolved, that the Student Assembly Standing Rules for the 2012�2013 academic year be amended as follows with the following texts added in bold and removed in :

Rule 9
“Other committee” funding may be requested by any committee chair for the purpose of furthering an initiative or the progress of a committee.

Rule 10
The Student Assembly Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Internal Operations together may approve any “Other Committee” funding request.
