S.A. Appropriations Committee: Byline Funding Recommendation: Cornell University Programming Board

2010–2012 Allocations$7.50
2012–2014 Request$7.50
Appropriations Recommendation$7.50

Rationale of the Committee

The Appropriations Committee recommends funding $7.50 for the 2012–2014 By-Line Funding Cycle. The Committee commends CUPB for its strong leadership and commitment to bringing highly demanded talent to Cornell. Committee members were pleased with the financial and operational results over the last few years and felt that CUPB had done a great job in bouncing back to a normal schedule of programming. The level of co-sponsorships was also lauded and the Committee would definitely encourage CUPB to continue working with other organizations in a similar capacity. Overall, the Appropriations Committee felt that CUPB offers a terrific service to undergraduate students and should be funded at the same level again for the next funding cycle.
