Student Assembly

Dear President Skorton,

On behalf of the SA Late Night Programming Ad Hoc Committee created by Resolution 18 and the Student Assembly, I am forwarding the report we drafted to address the lack of late night programming which exists on Cornell’s Campus.

As a result of the changes to the University Recognition Policy and the desire to build a greater sense of community on Cornell’s Campus, the Student Assembly tasked a number of students representing all segments of campus to address some of the issues surrounding these larger University initiatives. The recommendations in the report, which have been vetted in-front of the Student Assembly, reviewed by multiple student organizations such as Cornell Concert Commission and Willard Straight Hall Student Union Board and presented to many administrators, are a result of our sincere efforts to address some of the issues the University has identified.
