R.6 Big Red Bikes Eligibility

Whereas, All groups that receive By-Line Funding must satisfy the requirements delineated in Appendix A, Section III

Whereas, groups that do not satisfy one of the optional requirements must get specific approval from both the Student Assembly and the President of the University

Whereas, Big Red Bikes does not satisfy Requirement E: “Be previously funded by either the SAFC, the Student Assembly, or a University department/unit for at least two semesters”

Whereas, Big Red Bikes has been approved as eligible to receive By-Line Funding by the Appropriations Committee by a vote of 11–2 and the Committee recommends that the Student Assembly make an exemption for Big Red Bikes

Be it therefore resolved, that the Student Assembly give Big Red Bikes an exemption for Requirement E in Appendix A, Section III and that this Resolution be submitted to President Skorton for his approval.
