Subject of Resolution:	The 12/1 Elections Committee Statement

Whereas, the Student Assembly Elections Committee passed the attached statement on December 1, 2007;

Whereas, the sole purpose of this statement was � and is � to ensure that the Student Assembly act pursuant to its charter;

Be it therefore resolved that the Student Assembly and the Office of the Assemblies immediately take whatever steps are necessary to bring both the former and the latter in line with the Student Assembly Charter as described by and delineated within the attached statement;

Be it further resolved that, if either the Student Assembly or the Office of the Assemblies is unable to comply with this statement during the current election cycle, both will nonetheless comply therewith in all future elections.
