Dear President Skorton,

I am pleased to present to you Graduate & Professional Student Assembly Resolutions 7, 8 & 9. Resolution 7 was sponsored by our VP of Operations, Christine Yao, and calls for our bylaws to reflect the updated list of external committees that we currently staff with graduate & professional students. Resolution 8 was sponsored by Jeffrey Bergfalk and outlines the assembly’s support of a more aggressive reduction in the use of fossil fuels that will achieve carbon neutrality by 2035. Resolution 9 was co-sponsored by Paul Berry, Nicole Baran and Evan Cortens and calls for workers’ compensation benefits for Graduate students.
