Dear President Skorton,

I am pleased to present to you GPSA Resolution 15, passed at the April 8th GPSA meeting. Resolution 15 calls for the creation of a Graduate and Professional Community Initiative (GPCI) Working Group to think about the implementation of the GPCI. The Working Group, suggests the resolution, calls for initial membership consisting of:

Dean of the Graduate School, Vice President of Student and Academic Services, Dean of Students, GPSA Executive Committee, and Chair of the GPSA Student Advocacy Committee

The Resolution purposefully does not call for a meeting schedule, but leaves that and additional membership up to this initial Working Group. I hope that this Working Group can advise you on the implementation of the GPCI going forward.
