GPSA: April 2, 2009 Conveyance of the Resolution 10

Dear President Skorton, Dean Power, Vice President Murphy, and Dean Hubbell,

Attached you will find GPSA’s “R.10 Regarding Support for Lesbian,Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Services and Administrative Support”, passed at our business meeting on March 23rd. I apologize for my tardiness in getting this sent.

In this resolution, the GPSA expresses support for the graduate and professional student LGBT community in their desire to consolidate services on campus under the LGBT Resource Center. Understanding the current economic situation and the inability to restaff LGBT support personnel at this time, author, Mario Guerrero, presented an important resolution with prudent requests.
