EA: February 22, 2011 Letter to President Skorton Re: R. 4

Dear President Skorton and Vice President Opperman;

Attached is a resolution passed by the Employee Assembly on February 16, 2011.

The Resolution respectfully proposes that action be taken to conduct a Staff Engagement survey that will generate qualitative and quantitative data to inform the University’s decision-making about issues that relate to staff. As Chair of the Employee Assembly, I encourage all affected parties to review and comment on the resolution.

The Employee Assembly is prepared to support, connect, and participate with University leadership and the Office of Institutional Research as we try to improve the engagement of staff on Cornell’s Campus.
