Resolution 7: Supervisor Feedback Committee, Appreciation

WHEREAS, feedback from the 2011 Employee Engagement Survey of the Cornell Employee community revealed a need to provide employees with more opportunity to provide feedback to their supervisors.
WHEREAS, it was determined that there was a need to develop and implement ways for staff to provide feedback to supervisors. This includes open and confidential methods that are both annual and just in time.
WHEREAS, a committee was created to address this need and to create recommendations on supervisor feedback.
WHEREAS, this committee was comprised of volunteers who gave their time, energy and passion to support the creation of recommendations to improve supervisor feedback issues across campus.
BE IT SO RESOLVED, the Employee Assembly (“the Assembly”) expresses its appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for the members of the Supervisor Feedback committee in creating recommendations that will support this key area of need that was addressed in the Employee Engagement Survey.
BE IT SO RESOLVED, the Assembly would like to publically recognize the following members of the Supervisor Feedback Committee for their contributions to the final recommendations submitted to President Skorton and Vice President of Human Resources and Safety Services, Mary Opperman.
